Who We Are
We are a small woman owned and operated business with more than 50 years of combined senior health care experience.
Patty Brown
Founder, Owner & Advisor
Patty Brown is the heart behind Elder Angels Senior Advisors and the visionary founder who built the company on one simple but powerful belief: every family deserves to feel truly seen, supported, and understood during life’s most important care decisions. Known for her passion, warmth, and unmistakable energy, Patty brings both heart and drive to everything she does.
With a background that spans hospitality, restaurant ownership, and senior living leadership, Patty offers a rare blend of business acumen and genuine human connection. Her experience as a Sales Director in senior living communities became the springboard for creating Elder Angels — a place where families could receive not just guidance, but real advocacy and compassionate partnership. Today, Patty leads with purpose, ensuring that Elder Angels Senior Advisors remains a trusted resource where professionalism meets heart, and where every family is met with the care they deserve.
Jenny Walker
Co-Founder & Advisor
Jenny is the Co-founder of Elder Angels Senior Advisors, bringing over 15 years of experience in the Senior Living industry—and a lifetime of compassion—to every family she serves. Her journey began as a legal assistant, but it was her role as the first employee at Brandon Woods Retirement Community at Alvamar Country Club in Lawrence, Kansas, that sparked her deep commitment to senior care.
Jenny’s path is shaped not only by her professional milestones but by personal experience. For 13 years, she owned and operated her own business as a certified massage therapist, cultivating a deep understanding of holistic care. Most profoundly, she walked the emotional journey of placing her own mother in assisted living and later memory care. That experience fuels her unwavering passion to guide families with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
Jenny offers more than expertise—she brings advocacy, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine respect for every senior’s story. She believes every older adult deserves not just a safe place to live, but a vibrant community where they can truly thrive. With Elder Angels, Jenny partners with families to provide concierge-level placement services, ensuring each decision is informed, thoughtful, and rooted in care.
Amy Starnes-Moore, CDP
Advisor & Community Liason
Since moving from Texas to the mountains of Colorado, Amy has found deep purpose in helping seniors and their families navigate life’s transitions with care and compassion. Her love for working with seniors began with her grandfather, whose guidance and humor shaped her heart for this work. She still keeps his bell by her nightstand as a daily reminder of her “why” — the reason she shows up each day with empathy, integrity, and a genuine desire to help others feel safe, seen, and supported. With more than 30 years in healthcare, along with experience as an entrepreneur and as a Director of Sales in senior living communities, Amy offers families a rare insider’s perspective. She understands how communities truly operate — from care models to culture and communication — and uses that knowledge to guide seniors toward the setting that best fits their needs, values, and goals. Her passion isn’t tied to any one community, but to helping each senior find the place where they can truly feel at home.
